WPIC Teams Up with Smart Works in the UK for International Women’s Day

London, UK — March 7, 2025 — As WPIC Marketing + Technologies expands its presence in the British market, we are committed to making a positive impact in our new community. In celebration of International Women’s Day and as part of our commitment to women’s empowerment, we are proud to announce a contribution to Smart Works, a British charity that supports unemployed women in the UK.

“Thank you to WPIC for their donation, as Smart Works is now on track to support 10,000 women a year across the UK back into employment the support could not be more needed, ” said Charlotte Hope, Corporate and Retail Partnerships Executive at Smart Works. 

 “Since 2013, Smart Works has supported over 45,000 women across 11 centres, and we are looking to expand into Bristol this year. Thank you to WPIC for being a part of our journey and joining our mission to empower unemployed women across the UK. With this donation, you will help us to continue to expand our reach and be there for all women across the UK who need our help,” she said.

Smart Works serves women across the UK by providing high-quality interview clothes and tailored training to build their job interview skills and confidence. This service has helped tens of thousands of women gain employment and reclaim their independence. Zarina Kanji, WPIC’s Managing Director for the UK and Europe, visited Smart Works’ Islington centre last week to witness their transformative work firsthand.

“Seeing the incredible support Smart Works provides to women, helping them enter the workforce with confidence, aligns closely with WPIC’s commitment to empowering women ,” said Zarina Kanji. “Our contribution to Smart Works is a reflection of our dedication to enriching the communities where we operate as we build out our presence in the UK.”

WPIC Marketing + Technologies is recognized globally for its commitment to advancing women within the corporate sector. The company was honored by the Women’s Empowerment Council as the Best Company for the Advancement of Women (SME) at the Women Empowerment Awards in China 2022. In China, 75% of WPIC’s C-suite are women, contributing to a 67% female workforce and achieving a 90% retention rate among our female staff.

In honour of International Women’s Day in China, WPIC also worked with one of its brand partners, the Australian milk powder brand Aureva, to provide in-kind contributions to the Sichuan Relief and Welfare Development Foundation.
