WPIC Appoints Emmanuel Poupelle as Director of Growth to Support European Expansion

Paris, France – May 5, 2025 – WPIC Marketing + Technologies, Asia-Pacific’s leading e-commerce enabler, is pleased to announce the appointment of Emmanuel Poupelle as Director of Growth. Emmanuel will lead WPIC’s efforts to support more European consumer brands as they expand into the fast-growing markets of China, South Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

The appointment marks another major step in WPIC’s expansion across Europe, following the company’s recent launches in the UK and Nordic markets. With strong demand across APAC for premium international products in sectors such as fashion, beauty, wellness, and home, WPIC is strengthening its European presence to support local brand partners with tailored market entry and growth strategies.

Emmanuel brings 20 years of on-the-ground experience in China and is fluent in Mandarin. He began his career in Beijing’s big-box retail sector in the early 2000s, before advancing into leadership roles at JCDecaux’s airport division in China. He later led a joint venture for Richemont and joined Chow Tai Fook, China’s leading jewelry brand. Most recently, he served as COO of Aventura, a service provider focused on enabling Scandinavian brands to succeed in the Mainland China market.
