About Honeywell

Honeywell is a global technology and manufacturing company operating across a range of industries.

The company partnered with WPIC to improve how it tracked digital activity and campaign performance in China.

Improving Visibility Across Digital Channels

Honeywell needed a clearer view of how users were interacting with its China website and social campaigns.

WeChat activity, website engagement, and traffic moving towards platforms such as Tmall and JD.com all needed to be measured more consistently.

Without stronger attribution, it was difficult to determine which campaigns and content were contributing to engagement and conversion.

Building the Tracking Framework

WPIC implemented campaign and website tracking tailored to Honeywell’s China digital ecosystem. This included WeChat campaign tracking, banner click measurement, and tracking for important website interactions.

Honeywell could then monitor actions including outbound traffic to Tmall and JD.com, as well as engagement with form fields and other conversion-related elements.

The resulting data gave the team a clearer view of how different campaigns and digital touchpoints contributed to user behaviour.

The Results

The new tracking framework gave Honeywell greater visibility into the performance of its China website and social media activity.

With more reliable attribution across channels, the company could identify which campaigns and content were generating engagement and use those insights to inform future optimisation.

The project established a stronger measurement foundation for Honeywell’s digital marketing activity in China.
